Verson Jetorix: “In the summer of ’72 I sneaked out of the house and rode my bike down to the Big Sky Drive-In in west Phoenix.  I climbed the fence and sat in the seats near the snack bar with a cold Coke for company.  What I saw was not a particularly good film but it was disturbingly bloody and violent to this 13 year-old.  Decades later the film hasn’t improved but it has its moments and a lot of J&B.”
