A blurry Lou Castel thinks he’s putting the moves on Marisa Mell, but she clearly has two other things on her mind; a J and a B.

Verson Jetorix “Aristocrat Andrea Orsomandi brings his new wife Marisa Mell back to his familial estate where she is immediately uncomfortable. Orsomandi is under a curse; his ancestors killed a pregnant witch, and she cursed the seventh generation of his family that they would bear her dead child. Marisa is pregnant. There are definitely echoes of Rosemary’s Baby here, with a few other ideas as well. It’s one of the sexed-up Gothics produced at this time in the cycle; it looks good and has good locations but the direction is poor and it was disowned by its director Giulio Petroni. It is certainly a showcase for Mell, in more ways than one. Lou Castel also stars. A curio.”

They really pulled out all the J&B stops for this movie, including the price.

Fans of Italian crime flicks will appreciate this.

Verson Jetorix “AKA The Rascal’s Gang, Dirty Gang, Destruction Force. No matter what you call it, Stelvio Massi’s half-hearted, half-breed cop thriller was not worth the time to watch – in my opinion. Luc Merenda’s commissioner seems tired and uninvolved. On the other hand, Tomas Milian, who wrote his own scenes, could be in a different, annoying movie altogether, and I wish he had been. Its good points are a familiar cast and a plethora of J&B bottles.”
