Sergio Sollima’s (The Big Gundown) giallo is a clever mystery with the past unveiled in seamless flashbacks. Perhaps with a bit more star power, this intriguing entry would be more highly regarded. As it stands, fans of more intelligent genre examples will find this impressive. Recommended.”
